while "weezie speaks out" sounds like a title for blog devoted to controversial issues that will spark intelligent debates among scholars, it really is just a blog that allows me to share what is on my mind -usually random thoughts floating around in my tiny brain.

Um, no he's not. I'm not a hater, bu Michael Beasley is by far the best college basketball player since, um, Kevin Durrant.
And by bu, I mean but...
i can understand why you'd think that. statistically, beasley looks like the dominant player. but i'd like to see how those statistics match up if he were playing for an ACC team. i mean what high quality team has kansas state even beaten besides kansas?
and while kansas state may not even make it to the NCAA tournament (i think they should, but I don't decide), hansbrough has carried carolina for most of the season with lawson out and is the main reason why they are number one.
it isn't an apples to apples comparison. both kids have talent, but hansbrough has heart - which gives him the edge on the college level.
the NBA will be a different story though - beasley will dominate!
